National Youth Day Celebrations 2026 | 7-A-Side Football Tournament

As part of the National Youth Day Celebrations 2026, IISER Bhopal successfully organized a 7-A-Side Football Tournament from 10–12 January 2026 at the Institute Football Ground, under the aegis of the Sports Council and Sports Section.

The three-day knockout tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from 33 teams across Students and Staff & Faculty categories. The matches showcased remarkable sportsmanship, teamwork, and competitive spirit, with vibrant support from the IISER Bhopal community.

Adding a joyful and inclusive touch, a recreational football match for community children was also conducted, encouraging early engagement in sports and strengthening community participation.

The tournament promoted fitness, teamwork, and unity, truly reflecting the spirit of National Youth Day and the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
