Dr. Santanu Talukder Wins ISSS Young Scientist Award

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Santanu Talukder from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of IISER Bhopal has been conferred with the ISSS Young Scientist Award by the ISSS Society.

The Institute of Smart Structures and Systems (ISSS) is a professional society that helps to keep pace with the advances being made and gives impetus to the emerging smart technology in India. It organizes international and national conferences and various activities on smart materials, structures, sensors, MEMS, etc., which have helped bridge the gap between the advanced level of technology abroad and the R&D efforts in India. This society was founded by Padma Vibhushan, Dr. V. K. Aatre, who has also served as the head of the DRDO and the scientific advisor to Raksha Mantri, Govt. of India.
