Outreach Programme on Materials Development & Characterization at IISER Bhopal
As part of the Five-Day Skill Development Training Program (Dec 8–12, 2025), jointly organized by IISER Bhopal, CSIR–AMPRI Bhopal, and Sri Sathya Sai College for Women, in association with INYAS, a one-day outreach programme was held at IISER Bhopal on Dec 09, 2025, for undergraduate students and teachers of Sri Sathya Sai College for Women, Bhopal. The programme featured expert talks, instrument demonstrations, and hands-on training in materials characterization at the Department of Chemical Engineering, under the supervision of Dr. Paramita Das, and was facilitated by CS2.

▪️ Dr. Paramita Das (INYAS member & Event Coordinator) – Basic Understanding of Mechanical Properties of Plastic Films and Composites
🧪 Hands-on Exposure
Instrument demonstrations and lab visits included ICP-OES, HPLC, UTM, Electrochemical Workstation, and UG/Analytical laboratories.
The programme empowered undergraduate women students with practical exposure to materials research, fostering curiosity and confidence.
