Dr. Renny Thomas Awarded Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship
We are delighted to share that Dr. Renny Thomas has been awarded the prestigious and competitive ππ§ππ«ππ° π. πππ₯π₯π¨π§ π ππ₯π₯π¨π°π¬π‘π’π© to spend two weeks at the Department of History of Science, Technology, & Medicine, ππ§π’π―ππ«π¬π’ππ² π¨π ππ€π₯ππ‘π¨π¦π, πππ, in Summer 2026.
This fellowship will support Dr. Thomasβs ongoing book project, βπππ§πππ₯π¨π π’ππ¬ π¨π ππππ₯π’π§π : π ππ’π¬ππ¨π«π’πππ₯ ππ§ππ‘π«π¨π©π¨π₯π¨π π² π¨π ππ§ππ§π’ π’π§ ππ§ππ’πβ, allowing him to access rare archival materials on Unani and non-European sciences at the History of Science Collection at the University of Oklahoma. During his stay, Dr. Thomas will also deliver a research seminar on the historical anthropology of Unani.
