We are delighted to share that Dr. Renny Thomas has been awarded the prestigious and competitive π€π§ππ«πžπ° 𝐖. 𝐌𝐞π₯π₯𝐨𝐧 π…πžπ₯π₯𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐑𝐒𝐩 to spend two weeks at the Department of History of Science, Technology, & Medicine, π”π§π’π―πžπ«π¬π’π­π² 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐀π₯𝐚𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚, 𝐔𝐒𝐀, in Summer 2026.

This fellowship will support Dr. Thomas’s ongoing book project, β€œπ†πžπ§πžπšπ₯𝐨𝐠𝐒𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 π‡πžπšπ₯𝐒𝐧𝐠: 𝐀 π‡π’π¬π­π¨π«π’πœπšπ₯ 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐑𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨π₯𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐨𝐟 π”π§πšπ§π’ 𝐒𝐧 πˆπ§ππ’πšβ€, allowing him to access rare archival materials on Unani and non-European sciences at the History of Science Collection at the University of Oklahoma. During his stay, Dr. Thomas will also deliver a research seminar on the historical anthropology of Unani.
